2009 was a successful year for the Dolrhedyn ponies Dolrhedyn Sequin did very well in yearling filly classes for Mrs Lockley
Dolrhedyn Hy-ball continued his success for Mrs Early
Dolrhedyn Talisman continued his fantastic career as one of the top scurry ponies in the U.K. for Richard Griffiths
Dolrhedyn Hywel champion foal at Hay Sale I hope to see winning in the ring
I managed to show once at the local show which was nice to see the ponies still holding their own
It is a great pleasure seeing the ponies fulfil their promise for their new owners
Due to my continuing health problems I only covered 3 mares to foal this year they are in foal to the studs chestnut stallion Dolrhedyn Solo all 3 foals will be FOR SALE

This is a truly stunning bright chestnut 2 year old colt with show and stallion potential with an outstanding pedigree with a lot of colour in his breeding he would in time make a fabulous Mountain and Moorland lead rein pony
Harlequin has a exquisite head an enormous front he has wonderful bone and is an outstanding mover coupled with this he has a lovely kind temperament
This is a sad sale only that I must now reduce numbers and am retaining his sire and do not need two stallions so closely related

Looking forward to 2009 I am expecting 3 foals this year which will be for sale they will be by the studs young stallion Dolrhedyn Solo
I am looking forward to seeing some of the foals bought at the sales out in yearling classes as I no longer can do much showing myself
I am considering cutting the ponies down this year so there are some lovely well bred ponies for sale mostly mares and young fillies which should have a future in the show ring both in hand or under saddle following the success of other medal winning Dolrhedyn ponies

We made our annual trip to the show and were delighted with the results
Gemstone Harriot was 2nd in the Sec A brood mare class
